Full of Life is a charity that supports and provides services to parent carers and their disabled children/adults. They give free practical independent advice to parent carers through their direct services.
This consists of parent forums, advocacy for children and adult services and a parent partnership service which deals with anything to do with special educational needs. Full of Life also runs a centre for young adults with complex needs, operating 6 days a week with a focus on communication and personal development, new experiences and learning new skills.
Who are they?
They were founded in 1994 by parents who were dissatisfied with the lack of information and support available for them to bring up their disabled children. This lead to the establishment of Full of Life, a single organization that helps with every aspect of their needs. Full of Life continues to grow and now supports over 500 families who live in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
